Parham Santana, TCM’s exclusive licensing agency, brought TCM and The Perseus Books Group together on a global partnership for a series of books inspired by the greatest movies from the origins of cinema to today.

Lauching this October 2015, movies fans and fashionistas everywhere will enjoy "Creating the Illusion: A Fashionable History of Hollywood Costume Designers" by Jay Jorgensen and Donald L. Scoggins, with a foreword by actress Ali McGraw. The book is recommended by O, The Oprah Magazine and listed on the Aurora Sentinel's "Big Books Make Great Gifts for the Holidays" list.

Also debuting: "Fellini: The Sixties" by Manoah Bowman. Called "a fantastic voyage into the magical world of one of cinema's greatest masters" by the LA TImes, it features a foreword by the late actress, Hollywood legend Anita Ekberg.

Both books are published by Running Press a division of The Perseus Books Group.

Aaron Spiegeland, VP Brand Strategy and Licensing, Parham Santana, says, “No other publisher has put together as strong a portfolio of books on classic cinema as Running Press. Expertly sourced, thoughtfully written, and beautifully designed, they make the perfect partner for TCM.”

TCM is promoting the books on air. “Creating the Illusion" is a #1 New Release on Amazon as of this writing.

Multiple new books are to follow annually. The range will encompass large-scale books on specific genres of films, stars, and filmmakers, as well as pop culture guides inspired by silver screen classics.

All titles are available at a bookstore near you, or shop.tcm.com.
