What got you into this business in the first place?

My journalism professor told me I wrote news stories like ads. He suggested I switch majors.

Who was a big influence in your career?

My advertising professor, Russell Doerner.

What was “your finest moment,” the thing you’re most proud of?

Radio spots that were listed as one of the 10 best radio campaigns in the country.

What was your most embarrassing moment in this business?

Working on an airline pitch and having to tell the client that their baggage handlers had lost all of our presentation boards.

Is there a great client story you’d care to share?

As a summer intern, I was invited to sit in on a client presentation. When the designer presented the color palette, which was green, the client went into a tirade going on and on about how much he hated the color green. No one in the room mentioned to him he was wearing a Kelly green sport coat.

What attracted you to Parham Santana?

My mother sold antiques from our house and everything had a price tag on it. Even my own bed was for sale. So, I literally grew up in retail. PS is a perfect fit .

Do you have a method for coming up with ideas and solutions for clients?

Panic, euphoria, panic, euphoria. Repeat.

What makes a great brand?

Simplicity and honesty.

What driving career goals do you still have?

To be a celebrity party planner.

What talent do you wish you had?

Dog whisperer.

If you had to live on a desert island, what would you miss most?

Swimming lessons.

Is there any food that helps you think more creatively?

Popcorn mixed with candy Hot Tamales.

What’s your favorite sports team?

Never been big on sports.

What frustrates you the most?

Being late.

What’s your point of view about politics?

Everything I know about politics I learned when I ran for class president in 6th grade. I won by a landslide.

Tell us about your pets?

We have two Bernese Mtn Dogs. One that adores me and ignores my wife. And one that adores my wife and ignores me.

What was growing up like for you?

I lived on the highest hill in the county. The views and the weather changed constantly.

What’s your favorite TV program? And your least favorite?

Changes as often as I change the channel.

What do you do for a good time when you’re not working?

I hunt for 19th century dog paintings.

What was college like for you?

Sheer bliss.

What are your favorite Internet sites?

1st dibs, Ebay and sadly, TMZ.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

Rolling my eyes.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Lottery tickets

What is your most treasured possession?

I have too many to count. I am a collector. Everything is treasured at the time.

What is your motto?

Keep it simple. Make it fun.

What is your current state of mind?

Highly caffeinated.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Patience.

Quick wit.
